If you have a problem with something, there’s open and wonderfully uncensored commenting, so you can make your POV known there (and then people can respond back to you with theirs). Just stop being all ‘cloak and dagger’ about it.
I think you do make a fair point, MB re. whether or not Went appreciates his fandom. He’s never given us much idea, but I don’t think we have any real reason to suspect that he’s “laughing behind closed doors” or the like. It bothers me too that he hasn’t been more openly appreciative (a simple “I really appreciate all the fan support over the past couple of years” in an interview would suffice), but is the man we think we know from all his interviews and appearances really the kind of person who would do the things you suggest? I think if we believe that, we might as well give up supporting him.
FWIW, I do think the fangirl support makes him uncomfortable, but I don’t think that’s for ‘nasty’ reasons. I think he’s naturally shy about so much adulation, possibly uncomfortable with being seen as a sex symbol for various reasons, and these things make him reluctant to accept and comment on the adoration.

It comes down to basic English – ‘it’s’ being a contraction of ‘it is’ and ‘its’ being a possessive pronoun. That ain’t Went (oops, no such word). As an English grad, he’d surely rather die than type the most common mistake in English other than that other notoriously common mistake of confusing ‘your’ and ‘you’re’ Oh my God, I’m starting to feel dizzy with all these apostrophes! I don’t mean to stir anything up, but I really don’t understand the whole “Went should do something for his fans” attitude. Isn’t that what Prison Break is for? It all just seems to borderline on a sense of entitlement that really isn’t logical or fair especially considering how forthright his has been about valuing his privacy.
I think it goes either way depending on humor. If you have one that is or has appreciation for the particularly darker and twisted [the only kind to have, really *cheery, toothy smile* ] it isn’t a “problem.” If it is a problem, then, well, I don’t know what to say other than to ask what type of screening you do before clicking the link.
